In the United States the FDA considers anything that ranges from 0.0% to 0.5% ABV a “non-alcoholic beer,” even though it may have small traces of alcohol. RationAle beer will always contain less than .5% alcohol, regardless of beer style.
No, like most beers, Rationale is NOT Gluten Free, as beer typically contains wheat, rye, or barley. In RationAle’s case, our beers contain barley to maintain the true craft beer flavor, in addition to water, hops and yeast.
RationAle beers are generally low-calorie, low-carb, and low sugar, particularly compared to alcoholic beers - our beers range from just 40-70 calories per 12oz can! Check out the nutrition labels on each beer's product pages for exact amounts.
RationAle uses an expert beverage fulfillment house to ship all our products for our online store. Our partner specializes in shipping bottles and cans, and the team takes great care to make sure that all beer is carefully packed and shipped to protect it during the freight process. We currently offer free shipping in the continental U.S. for all orders of $40 or more. Orders for less than $40 incur a $10 shipping fee. Online orders are normally processed within 1-2 business days, and currently ship from our Northern California warehouse using UPS ground, so shipping times typically range from 1-2 days on the west coast, to 3-4 days on the east coast.
We currently ship to anywhere in the U.S. using our normal shipping rates. We also ship to Canada! Please shoot us a message directly at brews@rationalebrewing.com for a custom shipping quote for all Canadian orders.

Yes, subscribing to RationAle is easy! Simply head over to any of our product pages and you’ll see two purchase options: the one-time order at full price, and the subscribe and save option which saves you 10% on each order. You have the option to choose a subscription order frequency of every 30 days or every 60 days. In addition, we offer free shipping for each subscription order of $25 or more, vs. $40 or more on one-time purchases.
